Chon A. Noriega is professor of film, television, and media studies at UCLA and director of the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center. Eric Avila is professor of history, Chicano studies, and urban planning at UCLA and author of The Folklore of the Freeway: Race and Revolt in the Modernist City. Karen Mary Davalos is professor and chair of Chicano and Latino studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and author of Chicana/o Remix: Art and Errata since the Sixties. Chela Sandoval is professor and former chair of Chicana and Chicano studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and author of Methodology of the Oppressed.
