The Lincoln Prison Book Project is a volunteer-run organization that collects books to send to Nebraska's prison population. They approached us about helping facilitate the purchase and shipment of books to the prisons. We are happy to help! We believe in the power of books to entertain and enlighten.
Below is a list of titles we have at the shop that we would recommend. If you have a special title that you would prefer to have sent, feel free to purchase using the same instructions.
You can donate a dollar amount if you'd prefer where 100% of your donation will go to the purchase of books. Click "Donate" at the bottom of the page.
Please enter "Lincoln Prison Book Project" in your checkout comments along with which facility from the list below you would like the books to go to. Then choose the "pick up in store" option and we'll make sure the book is shipped directly to the prison.
Francie & Finch will donate a portion of these sales back to the organization.
